Micro Enterprise Development Programme in North-East India

As part of IEMSD commitment to North-East we have planned numerous Development projects in Manipur, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
In the first phase IEMSD has adopted Liyai village in Senapati district of Manipur. The main endeavour would be on Micro Enterprise Development where self-sustenance will be the key issue. Work has already begun on development of a health centre, childcare centre and a vocational training centre. Other than this emphasis will also be given on non-conventional energy.Solar cookers have already been distributed to some of the residents of the village on experimental basis. Apart from this training is also being given at the grassroot level on environmental protection.
