IEMSD has recently collaborated with the Federation of Industries for North East Region (FINER).

The Institute has an active collaboration with the Centre for Cultural Research and Documentation.

IEMSD also has major collaboration with the North Eastern Council, Shillong, Meghalaya.

The Institute also has an active collaboration with the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, which has pioneered interrelated educational and research programmes in environment and energy. The IIT courses on Environmental Management will be run by the Institute with teaching material and instruction directly uplinked form IIT, Chicago. Students will be awarded Diplomas and Certification of IIT with opportunities to
continue higher education in IIT, Chicago, U.S.A.

Collaborative arrangements are being worked out with important like-minded institutions and NGOs like the SNS foundation, with whom we have signed a collaborative MOU. Tetra Tech EM Inc.U.S.A. the multinational environment consultant, is one of the Institute's corporate collaborators.

Our Institute has also gone into collaborative arrangement with Joint Assistance
Centre, India's leading organisation specialising in the field of disaster
management.

Another major collaboration will be with liked-minded institutions in the field of Social Development and Crisis & Disaster Management.

The IEMSD will prepare students for their courses both through distance learning as well as in-house teaching.
