INSTITUTE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

1.	IEMSD has organized workshops with JAC on crisis and disaster management.
2	Gurgaon NGO Forum has been formed for Gujarat Earthquake Relief under the guidance of Mr. Ashish Chopra, Executive Director, IEMSD. A large amount of relief material (medicines, clothes, food, blankets, etc.) has already been dispatched to the effected areas of Gujarat.
3	The institute is organising workshops and training programmes in disaster preparedness and is also taking out do's and don'ts information booklet in the event of the disaster.
